Our Focus
We focus on ministry to the most poor, oppressed, homeless, hopeless, addicted and outcast.
We minister to the sheep lost in the deepest darkness. Jesus says in Luke 15: "Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home... I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."
We focus on opportunities of church without walls.
Rarely do the poorest marginalized populations have access to the Gospel through mainstream church community structures. We work to release the circumstancial confines of poverty, homelessness, addiction, and mental illness to bring the healing Hope and Light of Jesus Christ to the marginalized, poorest of the poor. We operate outside conventional church norms in order to reach the fringe.
.
We emphasize providing a Local Mission Field.
We are blessed for God to use 1000 Hills churches as mission opportunities for local church communities. We obediently provide volunteer and service programs in which church communities can participate in for congregation development, discipleship and mission work.
We focus on partnership through the local church.
Our community's churches are God's provision for completing His work. 1000 Hills delights in the commissions God orchestrates with partner churches; we enter into God-ordained partnerships and cooperations with many local churches and community ministries. We do not rely on, accept, or operate with any government or municipal agency support, instead relying on Christ's Church of Believers to enable God's work to be done in 1000 Hills Ministry.
