We serve areas in Downtown Houston with the greatest concentrations of people living on the streets. We steward two large outdoor street churches (Church Under the Bridge & Church in the Driveway) providing daily church services and serving a meal at each service. Our primary congregants in this area are people who are homeless, hungry, and battling drug and alcohol addictions.

These two churches are our biggest and best opportunities to get involved with today!

Church Under the Bridge 2800 Saint Charles Street Houston, TX 77004
Monday - Saturday 7:30 p.m., Sunday 3:00 p.m.

Church Under the Bridge is a very special experience. We hear from both our congregants and volunteers what a blessing it is, and how God uses the church to transform lives from the inside out. One reason it's such a special experience is how "hands-on" you can be in your service with us. We pray God leads you to join us. We need heartfelt, enthusiastic volunteers who want to show Christ's love to people who are normally shunned, looked down upon everyday and do not receive much, if any, interactions of love. Just being there to smile, shake hands and love on our congregants is one of the most important things you can do! Imagine what impact you could have on a total stranger just by looking him or her in the eyes and saying "welcome, we are so glad you are here tonight!"

Church in the Driveway  |  3338 Drew in Third Ward, near Downtown Houston

Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m., Sunday 10:00 a.m. (New Saturday Service at 10 a.m.)
Church in the Driveway is a more intimate, concentrated experience. We provide services to serve our neighbors in the Third Ward community. Something very unique about our Driveway congregants, is that many, many people are deep in their Walk in Christ and have been Christians for many years. It's a special blessing to be able to provide an unconventional church service to those within walking distance of their own homes. Church in the Driveway congregants struggle in generational poverty; sometimes their faith is the only stronghold they have in their lives. Third Ward is a concentrated community of families who have lived in poverty for many decades. Families are trapped in the cycle of poverty and extreme need. We work to disciple our congregants to strengthen their faith, with the hope of Jesus Christ to break the chains of poverty! We pray God leads you to join us!
